Grupo Bantus Capoeira (Singapore) is having her 2nd Batizado this coming October! Its a fun-filled and significant event where newbies (Kids & Adults) are being 'baptised' (not in the religious sense) and become full-fledged Capoeiristas. During the ceremony, newbies will play with their fellow instructors or our Mestre (Master) and then awarded their first cord, not before they get an unforgettable game with whoever is 'baptising' them. Every Batizado will precede with a week of workshops and this year we will have our fellow instructors from KL, Australia, Netherlands and Brasil to conduct the workshops! The ceremony will be on the 2nd weekend Oct, place not confirmed yet. So my frens, do come and have a look cos it'll end with a blast, Samba and all!
